Beads giving me the shits again
Oct. 18th, 2004 07:11 pmFor
thysanotus. Taken by me a couple of weeks ago at the Zig Zag.
I made this little guy today.

I'm pretty proud of him. What shits me is his brothers. A dragonfly and a beetle. The dragonfly is pretty straightforward - the problem is I don't have enough cord to finish him off. I tried sticking to bits together with sticky tape but that didn't work and any knots are too big for the beads to pass over. I'll have to see if I can track down some similar cord and I'll have to undo the half of him I've already made and start again. The beetle is horrid and complicated, and the instructions for him are pretty vague. I've done the first few beads and they WILL NOT sit how they are meant to. I have no idea how to get them to sit properly. Maybe he'll just fall into place but in the meantime he's pissing me off and I've given up.

The necklace I made for Kitty for her birthday.

Earrings I made for mum for her birthday - they match the necklace I made her earlier.

A Christmassy ponybead stretch bracelet.
