Okay, first gripe. 15 minutes before the first ad. I think "Yay! Is this a miracle? One lot of ads in a half hour program?" No such luck, they managed to squeeze 3 lots of ads into the last half, bah.
And why do they pick out four only to send one out again? I don't get it. Why not just call out the three and not make it harder on the fourth.
Okay, the people.
Hayley?? WTF??? Seriously, I reckon Ngaiire deserved it so much more than her. I really didn't like her take on Angel. Ngaiire most certainly deserves to come back as a wildcard.
Chanel is so into Ben. They're always playing around and tonight she was SO singing directly at him. She's cool, she'll go far. She's unique.
And Courtney! All I can do is cheer. I hope he goes far, possibly even wins. I can see myself actually buying his album and listening to it late at night at some lookout overlooking the city lights.
Ben was a fourth pick for me. In retrospect however I see nothing hugely special about his voice, he just lights up the stage with that smile.
I would have liked to see what else Emily can do, but for someone that was barely seen before Sunday, I can understand why she didn't make it.
