YES!

I'm pleasantly surprised, I didn't have much trouble getting it in (many struggle to get the hang of it) and I took it out in the shower to avoid too much mess, but I didn't splash blood everywhere.

I can't turn it however, apparently that gets the seal right. It leaks a tiny bit but I'm sure as I get the hang of things I'll discover how to turn it and get the seal.

No more spending loads of money on pads and tampons. No more creating loads of landfill from said products! YAY!

there's a store in my town that sells them! sweet! :)

and $22-30 is not bad for something you only replace once a year or so. compared to $5 a box 12 times a year....that's saving like $30 a year! sweet!

yeah, i saw that on the site, and that most women like to replace them after 1-2 years. I think I'd probably be one of those women. :)

Not every day I hear the phrase "alternative menstrual product" on my friends list.

I am also of the opinion that tampons HAD to have been invented by a man, because the whole concept of those sounds hideous to me (never mind the ridiculous tampon commercials on television which seem to cheerfully forget that their product is something shoved up a bodily orifice). -_-

Menstrual talk doesn't faze me much ... it's not like you're graphically describing anything anyway.

This reminds me of Cattrah's story of the keeper on the TP a long time ago. It looks like the keeper and the diva cup are pretty much the same.

Haha, I remember reading that ages ago. Thanks for digging it up again.

I've had an amazingly easy time with it (the worst thing is my long nails). I also seem to have gotten the seal right now because it hasn't leaked overnight.

The Mooncup and Divacup are both made of silcone, one is made in the UK and the other in Canada. I think the Mooncup has a slightly longer stem. The Keeper is essentially the same device but made of latex instead.
