add straw necked-ibis and Carnaby's cockatoo to Sunday's list.

In other news - listened to the dawn chorus this morning.
Here's what I heard.

Senegal Dove
Magpie
Silvereye
New Holland Honeyeater
Brown Honeyeater
Singing Honeyeater
Whistler (not sure if it's Rufous or Golden - most likely Rufous)
Magpie Lark
28 Parrot
Raven
Galah
Red Wattlebird
Laughing Kookaburra
Western Gerygone
Corella
Willie Wagtail

Possible White-Cheeked Honeyeater, Weebill and Yellow-Rumped Thornbill - I just keep hearing more and more! :)
And Red-capped Parrots inevitably appear in the afternoons.

Mmm, dancing around like a maniac keeps you nicely warm - and burns calories!

Mind if I friend you? I love your descriptions of Aussie bird sightings. The wagtails look similar to "new world" larks and orioles. I just can't enough of birds, dang it :^)

Feel free to friend me. Though, my lj is sometimes about birds, gardening, and wildlife, sometimes it's just a ramble of silly jokes, boring rants about family and politics. I'll make sure to supplement with lots o' pictures for interest :^)

Go ahead. :)

Glad you like 'em. I tend to geek a lot in my journal.
