Grrr.

Due to Matt being a slackarse and buggering off upstairs to leave me to make dinner - I forgot about an auction I was watching and subsequently did not bid and did not win it, even though I'm sure I would have easily won if I remembered.

*pissed*

And I am fucking sick of walking on disgusting floors because they never get swept or mopped.

I cleaned the bathroom, the microwave, the stovetop. I wash the dishes the same amount as everyone else if not more. It is NOT my job to do the goddamn floors but I seem to be the only one bugged by the layer of grime on them.

Why are males so goddamn slack?!

Kids these days... when *I* was young, we had to get down on our hands and knees and scrubs the floor until it was clean enough oto eat off. Every day for 14 years!

Has this problem arisen because it used to be my job and hasn't been properly reassigned? Although it's not like I ever mopped the floor unless we had a rent inspection approaching... or unless someone spilt something...

I mopped the kitchen floor just last month. If you want it done again all you have to do is ask. And yes you probably are the only one bugged by it. I hadn't really noticed it that much.

And you don't have the money to buy more stuff! You're always complaining about not having money, but always spending it on stuff that probably isnt needed.

My husband likes to help me clean. Cleaning helps us both feel better about the house.

Because they can put up with filth a lot more easily that we can. They're not detail oriented usually and really just don't notice, or care. But, when sharing a house, out of respect everyone should keep common areas clean. It's not fair for you to do all of it. Last time I checked women don't have the word SLAVE tattooed on their forheads. You don't need any fancy or expensive cleaning solutions to mop a floor. Use vinegar, seriously. It's very cheap, antimicrobial, and a wonderful cleaner. I even use it to clean off counter tops in the kitchen, just dilute it with half water and put a drop of dish soap in a spray bottle and there you go. The smell will go away in about 10 minutes. It may be an inconvenience to them, but out of basic decency they should pitch in with the cleaning and mop atleast every other week.

I feel for you dude I now where you are coming from and although I feel like I do everything around the house I have certainly let a hell of a lot slip lately (like for the last few months)

I just feel too down to do anything about it but hopefully that will change soon.

We are going to get ourselves into some sort of routine so that we get enough sleep and what not.

Oh like now I should be in bed and not here god I've really gotta start some where!
