I made Afghan cookies yesterday and added peanuts because for some bizarre reason I was craving homemade chocolate biscuits with peanuts. I found two packs of brown sugar (light and dark) that Sair had left behind. The dark had the recipe for Afghans on it, how lucky, just what I was seeking. The light had a gingerbread recipe on it, we already had pretty much everything required for that (I've made gingerbread before) so I'll make a batch of that sometime. For the Afghans I needed to buy cornflakes, which I don't eat for breakfast. But... there's a recipe for honey joys on the box!! *squees and bounces* I haven't had honey joys since I was a little kid and always loved them so much more than bloody chocolate crackles (the copha left a weird feeling in my mouth). So a batch of them will be coming along soon also. Not to mention the Cherry Ripe muffins I whipped up a bit ago, but that was a muffin mix, not from scratch.

Why is everyone suddenly Dido'ing? not that I mind.... she girl has a voice, and sings songs you can associate with.
I especially love "life for rent". I'm just glad I never heard it before I met K. Prolly would have been too much.
