I think of all this great stuff to write at uni and on the way home and forget it all when I get here. *goes cross eyed*

Manufactured truth... yeah. I think it happens to everyone. No-one knows what the truth is so you manufacture your own and hope it co-incides with others.

Most of my life I've had one side that wanted to be bad and take risks and do what all the other kids did and the other side wanted to stay good and clean and have everything stay perfect.

Bah, perfect doth not equal happy or fun.
And even though the other option is slightly uncomfortable (yeah, a rut methinks) it is more fun and happy and less miserable and boring.

So why should I keep letting the perfect half of me continue to rule to my demise? I damn well shouldn't that's what!! *grars*

I don't think happiness lies in perfection or rebellion.. happiness lies in deciding what you really want, and achieving it. I know this all sounds like self-help fluff but it is true.

I don't feel aiming to be perfect or to be bd is a good thing. Just... be you. Works for me anyway :)

> You're still young, that's your fault

Bah, I hate that line. *kicks Cat Stevens* (though I do love that song.) Being young is not a *fault* (btw, didja know that was gonna be the opening song for Moulin Rouge in the first draft?)

Happens to me *constantly*. I want the telepathic typewriter from 'The Tommyknockers'. I'd have written at least three bestsellers by now (well, maybe not, but three novel length "pieces", anyway.)

*raises eyebrow* I don't shock all that easily, ya know. ;)

As for the cold, I recommend Nature's Own Garlic and Horseradish, available at most chemists. My roommate came home with an awful cold right before I was gonna go off on my holiday in Brisbane; then Luke got it from him; then I felt that awful little tickle in my throat signifying I was about to get it too. I was determined *not* to go on holiday with a sickness, so I went off to the chemist and they sold me this stuff. Flu threatened, but never happened! Now I swear by it--it kills colds in their tracks.

On the bad side, I have a mildly sore throat and was suffering from yucky coldness for three days.

On the good side, for those three days I did not have to pick up dog shit when I went to walk my friend's pooch. :)

Once to get of age I don't think it's a matter of 'bad' nor 'good' anymore, it's a matter of what YOU want to do. If you want to take risks, try something new, and rebel against what you think is good, then I say try it within reason. Nothing should make you feel bad or guilty and if that's what's going to happen then don't do it.

I'm not entirely sure what you consider bad. But should you try the risk then just make sure you don't overdo it. I've seen a lot of good people ruin their lives because they didn't know their limitations. Remember that the "perfect" you is you. You can spice it up a bit but don't try to pull a 180. Does that make ANY sense??:P
