MLP gripes
Jul. 17th, 2003 11:29 am- I hate it when people spell "pony" as "ponie".
- I'm sick of people bitching about people who bitch about the new ponies.
- Are people really so stupid and unobservant that when two people have vaguely similar names they truly can't tell the difference in a) actual name b) writing style c) sig??
- People who say "I think I'm going to be scammed." Well love if that's what you're thinking, any person with half a brain wouldn't go through with the transaction.
- People who constantly get scammed and still have no clue as to how to avoid scammers. I have only be scammed twice, by people I had never heard of before and have never heard of since.
- People who still trade with people who are well known scammers then wonder why they got scammed too. "Oh but they seemed so NICE!"
- People who ask about basic eBay buisness practices. I hung around eBay for about year before I started bidding and a few months after that before I started selling. I know the ins and outs of sniping, proxy bidding, shilling, nibbling etc. I know how to file an NPB and get my final value fee back and I am NOT afraid to leave a neg when it's deserved. I've yet to get a retaliation (maybe Australian sellers are just nicer, I have only bought withing Oz so far). If no-one takes action against bad eBayers then they will be able to continue on their merry way without recourse.
And now I must go and do constructive stuff.
