It shall be held on May 17th, which is a Saturday.

At 3:30pm there will be a Tupperware Party. The demonstrator is the lovely [livejournal.com profile] purrdence. Come along and check out (and hopefully buy) some great storage stuff. I will be baking some goodies for attendees to nibble at.

The Tupperware party will end around 5:30 - but after that comes the Housewarming Party.

And here's where it gets amusing. I put in a vegetable garden on Saturday. We finally set a date for the housewarming party on Sunday. And on Monday our agent tells us the owner of this place wants to sell it!

We'll be discussing it further this evening (luckily we have a great agent, who is also the guy selling the house). The two best options are either to market it as an investment property with two great tenants already in there (downside, rent will possibly go up) or we could buy the place (downside, lack of money). I really really don't want to have to have to move AGAIN, and this is such a nice house.

Further information is that owner won't sell if she can't get the property she is currently looking at buying. So maybe she'll miss out on that and it will be situation normal. *crosses fingers*

Oh, and that damn pergola is currently being dismantled. Agent himself eventually had to do the dirty work.

So yeah, if you need the address, message me (or Matt) and we'll get it to you.

There will be some drinks and nibbles provided at the Housewarming. There are also plenty of fast food places down the road (like Chinese, Pizza and Fish & Chips are walking distance) for your dinnertime needs.

ZOO UPDATE

It would seem it has simply taken a lot longer than expected for them to plough through the applications.

Latest news is that a shortlist will be made late May and interviews are scheduled for June.

So, I'm still in with a chance, and it just gives my knee more time to heal in the meantime.

Does anyone know - do citrus fruits ripen off the tree?

One of my lemons fell off the tree and it's still a tad green.
