Eeeee, Benji Mac from last year's Idol appeared in the crowd. I squeed.

Hilton & Kate - Foxtrot

Well, that was something funky with a few foxtrot moves at least.

Sermsah & Camilla - Hip Hop

You could tell Camilla was unsure with it, her lines just weren't as sharp. But with those loose, stripey outfits, you couldn't really see much at all. I think the outfits detracted from the performance overall. Unlike last weeks outfits which were stunning. And agreed on the fact that Sermsah needs to stop being unsure of himself and just dance, because he IS good. And that flip - wow.

Graeme & Kassy - Lyrical Contemporary

Hated the music. There was no beat or rhythm in it. This looked like a repeat of last week's performance with fancier lifts. And I thought Kassy was taller than Graeme, seems I was wrong.

Marko & Stephanie - "Swap"

Swing-Hip Hop... uh, okay. And Stephanie balks on the lifts! She was possibly the worst dancer this week.

Anthony & Laura - Disco

Funky, but seemed a bit slow at times, especially that last lift.

J.D. & Rhiannon - Contemporary Jazz

The dance just didn't seem to match the music here. J.D. was so loose here, he looks like he's just flopping around to the music. Bleh.

Jack & Demi - Samba

Samba is a bitch to dance, it's hell on the knees. For someone who never wears heels it must be near impossible. But Jack and Demi did a stunning job. There wasn't enough bounce but hey, Demi was probably still getting used to not falling over in those shoes. I agree that this was the best of the night.

Rhys and Jemma - Jazz

*wolf whistles* I adore Rhys, and he was sex on legs as a vampire. I don't care what the judges say, I loved this. But maybe I'm biased?

Henry & Vanessa - Animation Hip Hop

Wow, the couples that had to break completely out of their comfort zones did best tonight. I was amazed at Vanessa's effort, I thought she'd fall flat. Sure she wasn't as sharp as Henry (who I love to bits almost as much as Rhys), but I was impressed. Maybe she isn't Missy Priss-Priss Ballerina after all.

Favourites - Rhys, Henry and Demi.

I'd choose... Steph & J.D. to go this week.

I need some better dance icons.

Why can't you all just suck on a nicotine inhaler instead of a cigarette? You get the same drug fix, but there's none of the goddamn smoke that we non-smokers are always whinging about.

You get your addiction, but it doesn't affect anyone else, and everyone would be happy.

So why are cigarettes/cigars etc. still so bloody popular?

I'm currently unable to walk without crutches due to a knee injury which is taking way longer than expected to heal (2 months so far).

Seeing as Centerlink is only paying me enough per fortnight to maybe pay for one physio appointment, I want a job so I can actually afford all my medical expenses.

A work from home/part time job would be ideal. And I'd probably only want it for a few months until I'm back on my feet.

I was thinking I'd probably be interested in proofreading/editing jobs - then I could pick over people's spelling and grammar and get paid for it.

Anyone know of any jobs like this? Or places where I could look for them?

Thanks. :)

Perth Zoo has advertised for positions in Australian Fauna Keeping.

i.e. - The position I was waiting to come up.

Last time I missed out because I didn't have enough handling experience.

I now have that experience.

1. How old were you in 1980?
I turned 1 on October.

2. How old were you in 1989?
9 That was a good year.

3. Were you a Toys R' Us Kid?
There was no Toys R Us. I used to like Wonderland, which doesn't exist anymore.

4. Did you watch Transformers?
Hell yeah

5. Did you see E.T. on the big screen?
I don't think so. I've never been an E.T. fan.

6. Did you own a Lite Bright?
No, but I had a Lights Alive!

The rest here )
