Bending knee gets easier and easier. I'm now almost at 90°.

Straightening is more challenging, but neccessary if I'm to walk again. I'm currently doing what I was told and have my foot slightly raised on a folded towel and am letting gravity do it's work to straighten the leg out. I'm almost there, but I think the swelling is what's stopping further progress. I currently have the compression bandage and ice-pack on it, and have taken ibuprofen this morning. I'll need to get some more, not sure when that will happen seeing as Matt will be galavanting across the countryside on the next two nights.

I'm able to take a bit of weight on the dodgy knee now, and must remember to try and walk normally while using the crutches, putting the heel down first to stretch out my calf muscle. This works fine most of the time, last night however my knee decided to do it's spazzy, evening thing and feel all wobbly again, so it wasn't so easy. It's feeling better again this morning.

Jamie (the physio) reckons she'll start strapping it on Friday, so I can seriously start to attempt this walking without crutches buisness. When that happens I will be a very happy camper.

And now I think I'll take this towel away and shove a pillow back under my knee because it's starting to ache.

Where the fuck are my field guides?

They're not on any shelves so they MUST be in a box.

I swear when I am walking again the shit in this house is going to get some order to it.

Anyone know where I can get non-slip mats for the bathroom floor and the shower?

Our stupid bathroom tiles become like ice when they're wet, and I'm really not keen on fucking my knee up again. It was a puddle on the floor that did me in in the first place.
