Ah, the simple pleasures

A bunch of us down on the beach around a campfire. Eating toasted marshmallows and chocolate. Katie and Martin playing guitar (he plays lots of Led Zeppelin therefore I was a happy BJ), and people singing along. It was nice.

Got to bed at midnight but eh, it was great.

Just took a wander along the newly signposted Spinefex Trail. I have never walked that trail before and I've been here almost 6 months! It was a very nice walk thank you.

Tomorrow I am doing shorebird disturbance monitoring at Stilt Viewing - I bagsed that site because banded stilt have been seen there recently, along with brown boobies and frigatebirds. Awesome.

My first rechargeble spotlight died on me, no-one could fix it. So dad let me have his one when he came up here.

At 2am last night it was working. I hadn't used it since. Tonight it won't work.
