Yep, one more exam to go and then hopefully I am done with my degree. *freaks* Lucky something has come to sweep me into the next stage of my life, let's hope it comes through eh?

Anyways, after the exam I puttered down to Alfred Cove. And I have decided I need a spotting scope for Christmas. Looking at waders is useless with the 8x30 binos I have now. I can tell they're waders, I can get a vague impression of size and often tell if they're brown or grey. That's it.

There are about 10 pages of brown and grey waders in the bird book. I badly need better, clearer magnification if I'm gonna ID anything wader wise.

Man it's warm today. Tempted to go to beach again. I am all gooby and slippery with sunscreen.

I post all of my birdwatching escapades to the [livejournal.com profile] birdlovers group. Very few get cross-posted to my actual journal.

However - if you're interested in reading them you can find them all in the memories section under birdwatching

This is a cheaper "collection" than the ponies were. Doesn't take up much space (just ID books, binoculars and webspace to prattle about what I see). It's also a lot more relevant to what I want to do with my life and gets me out seeing some awesome spots.
