And my hair is now purplish/red again.

I now have a decent phone. So ring me people! My number hasn't changed but if you need it anyway just message me for it.

It would seem that the $22 plan was abolished on the first of June (Matt got his phone on the 31st of May), which is sucky sucky. In the end I chose to go on the $33 plan - it gives me $100 credit after the first 3 months, a cheaper call charge and more paid for calls. I'll just have to become a phone whore so I can get my money's worth. I can't believe there is a plan for $99 a month up to $500 in calls. When I first heard the ad for that I thought I was hearing wrong, I thought to myself "Who the fuck makes FIVE HUNDRED dollars worth of calls?!" (my largest bill being $11 or so) but I guess some people do. I'll be struggling to get my $33 worth I reckon.

So now I have to learn to use this thing.
- It has colour!
- It plays MP3s!
- It's a camera and also takes video!!
- It apparently has a GPS and compass!
- It's a notepad!
- It can store up to 500 contacts!
- It can make voice calls, SMS, image MS and video MS!!
- It's a sleek black colour so I can tell it apart from Matt's shiny silver one.
- And the 3 on it is holographic, ooooh

And this month I have 150 free SMS. So expect bizarre messages.

I hear a lot of people go on about how bad canned and/or dried foods are and that they only feed their cat/dog fresh meat.

I have a Certificate in Animal Care and part of that involved studying animal nutrition. We had to devise a balanced diet for various animals (different weights and breeds of dogs and cats), using non pet food products (canned and dry stuff and things like that). It was EXTREMELY tough to get it balanced and required a heap of supplements. In the wild the animal would eat the whole carcass and get all the nutrients from a combination of muscle, skin, bone and organs but with people feeding their pets raw meat they usually only get muscle meat - which does not provide all the essential nutrients.

What I'm actually wanting to know is the legislation on pet foods in other countries. Here in Australia if a pet food says "complete" (most do, but some of those fridge rolls of meat and most treats aren't) it is just that. It has all the essential nutrients to keep your pet healthy. You can easily feed your cat the same food day in day out and as long as it continues to eat it it will stay healthy (it's usually good to give dry food for dental care, a pet on purely wet food will have awful teeth problems if they don't chew anything else).

So, are the rules the same elsewhere? Or are pet food companies allowed to stick whatever they want in pet food hence causing people to go on about how bad canned and dry foods are?

I just realised I haven't posted pics of last week's meals yet.

So, without further ado.

Matt got the Fratelli's Special or something (Fratelli's was the restaurant) which was pretty much a surf 'n' turf dish. You could choose either sirloin or chicken and Matt chose chicken - making it more a "surf 'n' coop". It only had 2 prawns but the chicken was well cooked. I ate the sweet potato chips and they were some of the better ones I've tried.

Surf 'N' Coop )

And as you all know I got the bloody humungous bowl of mussels. It was a main serve but I had no idea just how many I'd get. The dish also included chilli but it was able to be removed for me. :)

The Mussel Saga )

Couldn't help but notice the similarity between mussels and a certain part of the female anatomy. Matt opened a shell and found twins!
Sexually explicit... or something )

And to finish a photo of me wearing my new white top, my new spiffy pinstripe pants (you can't see the pinstripe though) and my gorgeous soft leather coat.
mmmm, leather )
