It's tomorrow night. Barely ANYTHING is organised and I can just see this all sucking more than last year and Matt and I coming off looking like we can't organise anything, when most of the problem lies with Carolyn. *bangs head on desk*

- The questions are organised - thank GOD for that at least. It would have been nice to have them done a while back so we could talk to Grant Stone about them and organise the layout of the whole night, that hasn't been done.
- This whole preoccupation with "foolishness". Sure it's on April Fool's, that doesn't mean all the questions have to be stupid 2 year old questions because people will be discouraged if they get too many wrong. Most of the atendees will be uni students, we are hardly dumb and will only feel pissed off and patronised if the questions aren't challenging.
- The rounds, a bit weird, but in the end turned out okay.
- The prizes, we should have had major prizes WEEKS ago. I can just see tomorrow we'll meet up with Carolyn and she'll have a few promotional pens and caps and that'll be it. w00t, what a way to get people to think that's $6 well spent.
- Carolyn reckons we should have a table today or tomorrow. I got the e-mail about this this morning. Matt doesn't have uni on Monday, I have one lecture. Tuesday we are both flat out. She seems to have forgotten that we have lectures and work to do.
- She keeps reassuring us that she's organised loads of quiz nights. Were they all this last minute?? Did they all suck?? Has she ever been to a MARS quiz night? She doesn't seem to have a clue about the usual traditions and such.
- How many people will we have?? I gave the flier to some of the karaoke regulars. I would have prefferred Matt did that because he's overall chummier with everyone and his voice carries over the noise there. Unfortunately happenings on Friday made that not happen.
- Saturday prize soliciting was not as successful as hoped.
- I will hafta photocopy table quiz today or tomorrow, that is okay.
- We'll buy pies tomorrow, dunno when we'll slot them in.

*cries*
Guys, if you come along (PLEASE come along) give us a hand and some encouragement. It's not all the fault of Matt and I!!!

How can one know the solutions to all their problems - yet not solve any of them??

Like all old Koontz books Chase is badly edited and has various spelling/grammatical mistakes.

I think I am becoming addicted to grapes, they are just there and so easy to eat.

I just spent $100 on a 128meg multimedia card for my digicam. Now, when I download photos of the card can I do that via my camera? Or do I need one of those little thingos that you put the card in one end and the other into the USB port??

Mum bought these freaking huge chocolate bikkies from Woolies. They are soooo yummy, they taste kinda like uncooked chocolate cake, or chocolate fudge!! I've been scoffing heaps of them.

Need to have a shower, but I'm soo comfy in my velvet jeans and Docs. One of the few good things about the cold weather.

Went for a wander down to the creek and quarry today. Large group of magpies. Many females and a couple of juveniles. No adult males, interesting. Maybe I should start watching them on a regular basis. They've fenced off the quarry and evened alot of it out. Wonder what they're intending to do with it. Probably stick houses on it, the reserve next to it is just a mudpan, ripped up by some moron doing donuts, it's not maintained as a nice park at all. I remember the days when I used to walk through the quarry on the way to school, or play in it and climb the walls of it and carve out hollows in the clay face. I guess they fenced it off because it's "dangerous". Bah, I was often among falling rocks there but never concussed myself. Worst I got was scraped knees and elbows from slipping while climbing, or being "bitten" by the hakea bushes around the rim. SAFE = NOT FUN.

Matt's place has an intermittent swimming pool it would seem. This phenomena occured on Saturday night. Picture quality is bad cuz it was so dark.

haha I love that phrase.

I also like this one because it is absolutely true on so many levels.

"The solution to pollution is dilution"

I should think about bed soon and stuff. I wish Matt would be back on ICQ so I can polish off a few quiz night things before sleeping.
ah well
