Just marinaded the chicken for tonight

I just wanna eat the marinade, tis goood.
Sorry can't give out the recipe, not because it's a trade secret but, like all good marinades it's just "about that much of this and about this much of that".
In case you haven't heard we're experiencing record temperatures here in Perth. Apparently it has got to 42 today!! That's the hottest it's been in years I'm sure. Wow.
Feeling a heap better, just wish this damn cough would be productive instead of just making my throat and chest sore.
Shud get stuff together for trip to Penguin Island tomorrow. I haven't been there since I was 6 years old or so!!
My mood says hot, because it is, but I'm not really. I'm just comfortable up here with the air-con, even tho it's only reducing the temp to about 30 or so. It's a cool breeze and I don't like being too cold anyway.

Aoowwww, my throat is raw from totally non-productive coughing.
I took some decongestant medicine. I want to take some more for the effect, but the stuff tastes so foul I am avoiding it and drinking iced water instead. I coughed up _something_ earlier but it wasn't much. Ugh. I sound like I have a smokers cough. Whatever is in there is refusing to come out and it's gross and I can't breathe properly cuz of it, I'm all wheezy.
Bowling was kinda good, we won.
