I'm just the pieces of the girl I used to be
Too many bitter tears are raining down on me
I'm far away from home
And I've been facing this alone
For much too long

I feel like no-one ever told the truth to me
About growing up and what a struggle it would be
In my tangled state of mind
I've been looking back to find
Where I went wrong

Too much love will kill you
If you can't make up your mind
Torn between the lover
And the love you leave behind
You're headed for disaster
'Cuz you never read the signs
Too much love will kill you
Everytime

I'm just the shadow of the girl I used to be
And it seems that there's no way out of this for me
I used to bring you sunshine
Now all I ever do is bring you down

How would it be if you were standing in my shoes?
Can't you see that it's impossible to choose?
No there's no making sense of it
Every way I go, I'm bound to lose

Too much love will kill you
Just as sure as none at all
It'll drain the power that's in you
Make you bleed and scream and crawl
And the pain will make you crazy
You're a victim of your crime
Too much love will kill you
Everytime

Too much love will kill you
It'll make your life a lie
Yes too much love will kill you
And you won't understand why
You'd give your life
You'd sell your soul
But here it comes again
Too much love will kill you
In the end

In the end

(how's that for an irrelevant topic. I was just listening to Blue Monday on the way home and that's a neat lyric, it used to be used by someone in a vamp rp channel as his exit message, anyway...)

Wooo, I still feel like I'm being spun around on the Power Surge or Rampage.

Matt and I went to Adventure World today. Woulda been nice to find 2 more people to use the 50% off voucher but everyone was either busy or broke. We spent alot of the day planning how to make the place a lot better amusement park. We're gonna rip out the monorail and toboggan, stick a shuttle loop in near the new rides, get rid of the wildlife park (yay, more kangaroos and koalas, woowoo *sarcasm*) and bung a heap of new rides. Oh yeah, we're also gonna clean out the ponds and speed up the bumper boats and go karts. The skyrail really needs work too, that whole darn things shakes, it can't be structurally sound. It's one of the lamest rides but possibly the most dangerous.

First thing we went on was the new Power Surge. Terry said it was small and it is. But it's still 16 meters high when it's in action and it rocks!! I really buggered up my shoulders on it tho by making them take all the weight. It's fun to dangle!! But nasty on the shoulders.

We went on the skyrail to kill time before lunch and just towards the end a fly flew straight in my mouth and I'm sure I swallowed it. I was coughing the rest of the day, the 2 stroke fumes from the bumper boats and go karts didn't help that much, throat is still dry and scratchy.

Spent a while on the waterslides, I'm sure the flumes are a bit faster, and they have nice new tubes for the rapids and tunnel of terror.

Went on the Rampage. Gah!! What an evil ride, the kind of ride that I _almost_ can't stand. The three spins around make my head almost explode. That didn't stop me from riding it about five times. Till the last ride of the day when halfway thru there was this loud *twang/snap/bang* sound. That was it for the Rampage that day. In the queuing pavillion in the rafters was a Wagtail nest with 3 babies. So cute. The mum and dad wagtails would fly out to the top of the building, catch a fly or whatever and come back and feed the bubs, they were awfully efficient. I like wagtails now because they catch/eat flies and flies are evil cuz they fly into my mouth and make me swallow them.

Turbo Mountain is still lame, but tolerable. I suggested we should stick a LIM launch on it. Matt reckoned we might get the cars over North Lake road if we did that *grinz*.

Bounty was lame and relaxing as usual. I could sit on that ride for ages.
I could also ride the Power Surge time after time. Not so sure about the Rampage. It stands out as one of those few rides that makes me vaguely nauseous. But remember, my favourite ride (the Orbitor) goes into that category as well. :) I just DO NOT get motion sick, it's great. :)

I put sunscreen on my scalp/part, which is never pleasant, but better than sunburn. And I got sunburned on my scalp anyway!! Gah!! That is so nasty when I brush my hair. Also a teeny bit pinked on my lower arms and face.

Now I am in need of sleep.

This is so hard.

Not being allowed to do all these things I want to do.
Even simple things like telling you I love you.
