Bedroom Quiz, arrggghhh I got sucked in

1. what size is your bed?: Single, has been my bed since I started sleeping in beds. My pop made it. I also kinda own half of a queen size, or at least I own the pillows! :)

2. what do you wear to bed?: a nightie at home, I hate long PJs. Various things or nothing at all in my other bed.

3. how many people regularly sleep in your bed?: 1 in mine, 2 in the other.

4. do you sleep with stuffed animals?: yep - single bed - a stuffed panther, double bed - err, Matt :)

7. how many people can comfortably sleep in your bed?: comfortably? okay bed 1 - 1, bed 2 - 2 or 3. Have slept with 2 in the single and I've seen a queensize hold 14 people (okay okay they weren't sleeping)

9. what position do you go to sleep in?: generally on my side

10. what position do you wake up in?: varies. Often squished by Matt.

11. have you ever woken up in a really weird position?: *nods*. Used to quite often wake up sideways on the bed, kinda uncomfortable

12. how many blankets/covers do you have on your bed?: bed 1 - sheet, summer blanket, feather quilt. Bed 2 - just a feather quilt.

13. Do you hog the blankets?: I try to :)

14. have you ever found your pillows on the other side of the room?: ummmm

15. when was the last time you fell out of bed?: not long ago, but it was a purposeful fall

16. do you have any strange bed habits such as sleep talking, etc.?: I have been known to mumble sometimes, I snore sometimes, I jerk around sometimes depending on my dream. I once stopped breathing cuz I dreamed I was drowning. Lucky I woke up and realised!

17. do you snore?: If I have a blocked nose (which is often)

18. how about drooling?: gah!! I wish it would stop, it's very irritating to wake up on a wet pillow.

19. how many pillows do you have on your bed?: Bed 1 - 7 but I only sleep on 2 (most are decorative pillows). Bed 2 - 4 - but I only use 2, the other 2 are Matt's

20. do you tend to sleep with a fan?: in the summer absolutely. Then when it gets cooler I still have it on for a while because I get used to the hum

21. last person to sleep in your bed with you?: Matt

22. do you dream?: dreams are the best part of sleep

23. can you remember your dreams?: some totally slip my mind, some stay hideously vivid, I love it when they do that.

24: can you make it through the night without a bathroom break?: I can, sometimes I don't tho. My bladder = 6am alarm.

25: do you eat in bed? sometimes

26: do you smoke after sex?: I don't smoke

27. you remember to brush your teeth, right?: 99% of the time

28. how many hours do you like to get? 8+, don't get that lucky most of the time tho

29. when do you go to bed and when do you get up? Regular weekday with uni. Bed around 11pm/midnight, up at 6am

30. are you kinda sleepy now? I am ALWAYS kinda sleepy

Bow-ow-ling

Bowled okay for the first 2 games
the usual perfectly straight until the last metre or so of lane where the ball skews off on a 45 degree angle and gutters itself or picks off a few end pins.

Last game I actually started bowling straight
opened with 2 strikes then bowled pretty good for the rest of the game too. Except for the gutter balls, gah, dunno what happened there, ball has a mind of it's own.

Feels really weird having one boot on and the other off. Must go and finish conads stuff
now dammit!! Just DO IT!!! *growls at self*

American Gothic - come mourn with me

I don't watch much TV, I find most shows are pretty crappy and don't hold my interest for long.

But in 1996 there was a show that stood above the rest. That show was American Gothic. A small town in Southern U.S.A., ruled by an evil sherriff and populated by a bizarre mix of characters and one ghost (well one ghost that was a main character).

I ADORED this show. I missed the first episode but watched the other 19 religiously every Wednesday. After it was axed my brother found he had the first eposide on tape, so I watched that and a lot more made sense. I only have the last double episode on tape now though.

I would KILL to have copies of this show on video or a format I can play on the computer. Jared, I will be one of your adoring hordes if you find me AG episodes.

There is a virtual second and third season on line written by fans and it is BRILLIANT!! The weird thing is that in the virtual second season a young (alive) girl was introduced. That was freaky because in my own fanfic follow on _I_ introduced an almost identical character. A Lucas antagonist. The storyline must have been begging for that character for 2 or more people to decide to stick her in a fanfic.

Anyone else absolutely love this show?? Or even like it a bit?? I need fellow mourners.

I have a week off, so I offered up a spa party, I let people know. But there is role play and Buffy and "oh it's too far".

The Truth Is A Lie

I coined that phrase many years ago. Back in early high school, and it still holds true.

I've often tried to delude myself into thinking I'm not but the fact remains that I am still completely and utterly confused about everything. I cannot find a shred of consistency anywhere and I'm just being blown about on everyone else's whim.

I am so tired, maybe I'm just "grumpy because I'm tired". Maybe I'll feel better in the morning. I hope.

I knew about 3 days ago that this get together would be a non-event. But I still did the stupid thing and hoped. Ah well.
