Mum took out insurance on my new car.

Now I understand that an insurance companies job is to make life as awkward as possible and give you back as little of your hard earned cash as possible. But part of the policy says only mum, dad and I are covered to drive it.
And mum's like, "If you go out and find you've drunk too much just ring us to pick you up."
Umm, get real?? Does mum realise how HUGELY IMPRACTICAL the whole thing is??
Sure I can drive it more than I used to. But some nights after a party (at like 2am) I am too tired/drunk and Matt is okay to drive, so I think I will still let him drive and hope to God there is no accident/speeding fine whatever (you hear that bub, drive REALLY careful when you drive my car from now on, I'm risking alot letting you). As if I am gonna ring my parents at 2am (when I want to leave the party right away), wait for them to come pick me up (while they are half asleep) and go "Can you take me back to Matt's cuz I want to stay the night there." (because that would be the original plan anyway). As. If.

Even tonight, I'm gonna want to be wearing my heeled boots - impractical for driving, I could take them off but then I'd have these jeans in the way cuz they're kinda long and flouncy, also vaguely dangerous. Matt would be wearing jeans and sneakers, a heap safer. He's also a lot more confident on some roads than I am - tho it would be good for me to learn to be confident.

Gah, they are still trying to run my life and not realising that I have friends and many of their ideas are completely impractical. Gah!

Phantom is laying in the sun on the spa cover looking oh so cute. She's doing the cross of the front legs thing and looks the picture of elegance.

Man she has the life

She's now sitting tall on top of my car.

Watching the dog next door probably.

I guess I am coyote - loner

I woulda liked to be a cat, but I'm not a sex fiend.

I'm a Pacific Tree Frog!

Pacific Tree Frogs like to eat a variety of bugs, including crickets, flies and spiders, though they aren't fond of larger beetles that can bite their lips. Courting males have a high pitched ribbit that is often heard as the classic Hollywood "woods at night" sound effect. Pacific Tree Frogs tend not to climb as much or high as most tree frogs, usually not going more than two feet up into vegetation.

What kind of Frog are you?
