Did you see snow?
Jul. 22nd, 2007 12:46 pmAs we drove up Lake Mountain we stopped at a lookout and I excitedly took this photo of my first snow. (I had been to the snow at Falls Creek previously, but I was 18 months old at the time so it doesn't really count.)

It's the white stuff just left of centre on the hilltop.
On the way down the mountain a few hours later I took this photo.

Yep, you guessed it. That's taken from the same lookout in the same direction.
It snowed about 50cm on Lake Mountain that day.
It snowed in Marysville.
It snowed at our caravan park in Narbethong.
It snowed in Healsville - a once in 20 years occurance.
It snowed in Ballarat.
It snowed in Sunbury.
Yeah, we saw snow. And rain. And clouds. So much in fact that many of the things we planned to do were closed or inaccessible. Shit, we couldn't even go toboganning on the mountain because there was too much snow falling. But I'll tell you about that later.
