Can anybody find me somebody to love?
Jun. 10th, 2007 09:21 pmWhy does no-one ever come to karaoke anymore? It makes me sad.
Friday was really good too, you all missed out. Norbert is apparently on holiday so we got some woman called Joy. Joy had the hugest song list I have ever seen and played the cornet and tamborine, as well as being all around friendly. And we got around 4 songs each. AND the overall quality of the singers was surprisingly good.
I'm tempted to find a Saturday night place (Guildford Hotel or other) for next time I'm in Perth, seeing as I'm running low on time in lieu so Friday's aren't so easy to manage right now - who's in? And where at? I just want to sing (and show off a little) dammit.
And for you musical types - you know when you're singing along to something and you hit the high note and sometimes there's this wavering sound? What does that mean? That you nailed the note or that you screwed it or something else? I can memorise music and sing in tune, but I can't read music and I have no idea what all the musical terms mean exactly.
