Weekend dilemma

gemfyreOkay, so I'd like to come to Perth this weekend. I need to get some supplies and I want to go to Eurovision party (not for Eurovision, for the ensuing humour). I also wouldn't mind karaoke but seeing as no-one goes anymore it doesn't matter that much.
Matt is heading up on Friday afternoon and sticking around until Tuesday afternoon - that is too long. I don't like to leave the cats more than 3 nights alone, and I've been doing that a lot lately.
I also don't know when I'll be finished work on Friday, so I may not be able to come up until Saturday.
I can take Monday, and probably even Tuesday off, but there is still the problem of leaving the cats too long.
I will need to go to a market on Sunday morning and get veggies, then take them to my parents to store in the fridge.
It seems the best option is for us to take two cars, thing is that's awfully expensive.
