Tonight the music at bowling was too loud. The music was crap and combined with the tinny speakers the only word I could come up with for the result was "clamourous".

Why oh WHY do all these techno groups have to grab great old songs and RUIN them by remixing them and sticking them to a techno beat?? About the only good I can see coming from it is at least the techno-bunnies will be vaguely familar with good music, pity all they will know is a ruined version. Tonight I heard a new version of INXS's "Need You Tonight" (renamed "One Of My Kind" by the way), they had a lizard replacing Michael Hutchence. Now maybe Jim Morrison would have approved of something like that but yeah..., it sucked. Then! I heard the strains of Cutting Crew's "Died In Your Arms". I was like "yay!! they're playing a good song!", then the techno beat started. I screamed I tell ya. First they take classic Aussie pub rock and make it techno! Then they do it to a classic!! These people badly need shooting.

In other news I tried the Candy Warhol magnum. *giggles*. This was a truly entertaining ice cream. It looks bizarre for starters, all lumpy with candy. Now I was expecting something like the stuff you find in clinkers but no. It's POP ROCKS!!! *screams with laughter* I haven't had pop rocks for YEARS!! I'd forgotten the sensation, and the damn things kept popping!! It was so COOL!! And yeah, that musk ice cream is pretty damn good too.

Well it's late. I gotta take a shower, print vet notes and get to bed. I start at 8:30 tomorrow, ugh!
