gemfyreI could barely sleep but now I am up I'm half asleep, gak. Hi, my name is BJ and I am the mucus queen *sneezes*.
So woke up yesterday to find the sore throat had developed into full on being sick as a dog. No surprises there really, sore throats do that 99% of the time. Got up, had a shower and got rid of the smoke smell from karaoke *spew*. Slept a little longer but it was too fucking hot. Wuffie came and attacked Matt and I so we watched a few cartoons then she left and Matt went off with Jared and Sarah to sign their lease while I played Sims then slept again.
At sometime during the afternoon I left a pile of tissues everywhere I went, slept for a bit on the beanbag downstairs, had a long, cool bath, watched half of Moulin Rouge. Watched the rest near dinner - a curry that Sarah made. I'm weird with curries but this one was made from scratch (none of this curry powder shit) and she gave me mine before putting in the cayenne pepper. Twas nice, pity I couldn't each much due to feeling sick. Watched part of the Moulin Rouge enhanced for visually impared version.
Oh yeah, it also rained briefly!! Quite a downpour even tho the sun was shining. Pretty. I went and stood in it, I don't care how bad that is for a cold. The puddles were still warm!! And it was still stinking hot outside. Apparently it got to 40 yesterday.
Eventually it was decided that we wouldn't go to Kendra's or Paul's parties tonight (Paul's being slightly more attractive seeing there is a pool an' all). I was intending to go home to the air conditioner there, the only problem was me getting from Matt's to mine feeling like this. Eventually I fell asleep again. Matt woke me to tell me he, JP and Sarah had decided to retreat to JP's air-con. Well, I didn't particularly wanna sleep elsewhere so I had to go home. This involved calling the RAC first because for some reason my battery decided to drain itself on Friday and not be charging while driving. RAC guy managed to get the car started with jumper leads and said it now WAS charging so he gave me a tow note just in case and I drove home, battery light didn't come on that I saw but dad'll look at it I'm sure.
And now I am home where it's cool and comfortable and I'm half asleep and half sweaty and half cold and sneezing and my nose hurts and my stomach feels ugh and my throat feels blah. w00t.
I figured that yesterday I wasn't using as much energy to fight whatever I have than I would be on a cold day. Because my body doesn't have to put in extra energy to make me a little hotter than usual. So hopefully the fever made that virus in me go "ARRRRGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" and start dying. I mean I am spitting and sneezing so much goo, I'm shocked that my nasal cavities can produce that much gunk! It just keeps coming. Ah well, I will continue to look after myself and drink lotsa orange juice and eat good food and try and get better ASAP.
