Is it safe to scan X-rays?? I'd like to show you all pics of my gorgeously impacted wisdom teeth. *growls at stupid teeth*

That should be alright, since its a negative... but don't quote me on that..:)

I love x-rays, they are fantasic!! Unfortunatly we don't get to keep our x-ray's here.. But I know my mouth ones are interesting (having seen them). I did not have impacted wisdom teeth, but they were coming through when I was 14!:)

I had four teeth removed and braces for two years so that my wisdom teeth would not cause any problems.
Ive got one or two of my wisdom teeth, I think, but if any of them DO end up being impacted I will not be the regular cheerful person I normal is. Not. At. All.

is that why they remove the teeth, or only one reason?

I had the same, and all three of my wisdom teeth are impacted (I only have three for some reason. Bottom right is missing.)

as for scanning, I've seen scanned ultrasound pics on the net, so I imagine it would be fine.

Wisdom teeth are horrible. And i get annoyed with the people who tell me "mine didn't hurt at all when i got mine". I've been on all the painkillers for my wisdom teeth. The air conditioning in the lecture theatres at uni set them off sometimes and i sit there in agony.. you'd think after having braces for years that your teeth would be nice to you again :)
