I went birding *bounce*

Saw a buff-banded rail and actually got to see it properly! Also found an adult rufous night heron and saw a whistling kite sitting on a pole for at least half an hour being harassed by seagulls. Then it took off and was harrassed by magpies instead. And there were so many black-fronted dotterels!! Awwwwwww. Oh yeah, and the clamourous reed warblers were certainly being clamourous. They sound like a loudspeaker broadcast - I have no idea how a sound that loud comes from such a small bird.

This actually makes me feel pretty grateful for my situation. But it completely cracks me up! The quiz at the end really makes it. :)
