gemfyreDriving out of uni this arvo. Saw this bird flit by. Saw it as a flash of aqua with orange highlights. Holy crap did I just see a rainbow bee-eater??! I was hoping we might see/catch one when we did the netting banding but we never did. But now I have seen one and confirmed that they are still on the campus, I feel all warm and fuzzy now.

mmm, food in me now, can't tell if the "chow goi" is mouldy or not but I had biscuits anyway and I now want more grapes. Mmmm homegrown grapes.
Tis weird. I seem to have acquaintances instead of friends. I want some people that I can just contact and say "hey wanna do this now?" and have them go "yeah, I'll be right over!" Everyone else seems to manage it, why can't I?
And I am gonna do the Latin Dancing. Maybe I will meet someone there that goes beyond the beginning hi to more of a friendship... Anyway, the dancing should be good - yay for Latin dancing!
