Personally, I dont find the idea of us all turning into ghost like wraiths of pure energy either 1). Likely or 2). Fun. I like having a body. Secondly, memes have ALWAYS been the way humans think, even Ogg the Caveman with his dead tree branch club -4. Memes are intelligence itself. They didnt just rock up in the last decade. All of human ideas and mental evolution are all just memes. Some memes take a long time to grow to full fruition. Some happen very fast. Its all very complicated, but in the end, its all very simple. Its just taken until now before we realised how it all worked. Just like genes. The question of HOW that you are asking is missing the point, in my opinion. Because if you thought about it, its not a matter of how, its a matter of "this is how its ALWAYS been, we just always thought differently before".
