Squeee ponies for me!!

gemfyreWell, all up it's been a pretty good day.
I went into Morley to the place Strathfield referred me to to fix my CD player. The woman there tells me I'll hafta bring in the unit and it will cost $38 for some non-refundable fee and it will probably cost at least $100 to repair it. Well I told her screw that (really I did!) and went across to the car stereo place I spotted across the road. Told the guy there the problem and he was like "I've heard of this before, you hafta take the unit out and give it a whack to get the CD into the cartridge." So he came out and did just that and fixed it! For free. What a legend. So now I have CD music again in my car *yay!* and I won't try and play Vitalogy in it again *bad CD*.
Saw some gorgeous kitties in the petshop, two torties among them, they were all pouncing on each other and being cute, as kittens do. Saw a seahorse setup there, mum'd love that. And I discovered that they aren't allowed to sell rats in Morley, bummer. Also bought 2 more pony vids to sell on eBay.
Went to Corina's to pick up the dream beauty I won and of course stayed and chatted with her for a while and ogled her daughter's collection. Saw and touched the Peru Glory *droolz*. She has really nice and soft hair. Apparently she found her for 50c at a garage sale *spews*, why can't I ever find things like that!? She also showed me Debra Birge's book which she has a copy of. The book is a lot larger than I imagined. It's set out nicely but yeah, alot of the ponies are grotty and there are misnamings and misinformation and the fact that alot of ponies just aren't in there. She also GAVE me the video with "My Little Pony in Dreamland" (I believe this is Firefly's Adventure? The one with Tirac) and "Escape from Catrina". I ADORED those movies when I was little, will be so cool to be able to watch them again. The early stuff was so much better than the movie or the later episodes.
Then I came home to 3 packages and a payment. More USD to add to the collection. The pencil case from Em, Teeny Twin Bootsie (now I have both twins! *gurgles*), Princess Sea Shimmer (completes that set), Italian Parasol (a freebie, she was grotty) and some stickers for my pony stickerbook from Liz and an MLP puzzle that I won off eBay.
I now have 493 ponies, 7 more to go...
