I thought it was another obscure Australian band - the Electric Hippies - and searching for them came up with the correct reference.

I've spent the past howeverlong trying to find a copy online so I can confirm, but the existence of a "sticky mix" kinda suggests this is it. Looks like it was on his self-titled album from 1994 (so "1993" was close!).

If you *do* find the album, I'd love to hear the rest of his stuff - I've got "Best of My Love" on a compilation and I really like it, but can't find anything else online. Seems he's a little too bad obscure ;)

Unfortunately it may also ring a bell because it's also the name of an actor in a Superman film :(

Yeah I just discovered that. But I haven't seen any of the Superman films so I may actually be thinking of a musical artist.

There is more research to be done, but it's a start!
