The man is not the band
Jun. 21st, 2010 10:28 pmBack in high school I was a massive Bon Jovi fan. After These Days I lost interest, they were trying to hard to be angsty like it was the new cool and sucking at it. They should have stuck with good ol' 80s hair rock.
Anyway, today I heard on the radio that they were touring Australia again soon and the woman on the radio shat me off by doing something that has bugged me ever since I became a Bon Jovi fan back when I was 13.
She referred to Bon Jovi as "he" instead of "them". Gah. Bon Jovi is the band people!! A band with 4/5 members. JON Bon Jovi is a person, the lead singer (and namesake) of said band. Jon Bon Jovi has also had a brief solo career (as has Richie Sambora, the guitarist in the band - check out his first solo album Stranger In This Town - it's awesome).
So yeah, that's my gripe for the day.
