Despite making all this, it was a remarkably relaxing Sunday.

It all started with butterscotch blondies.


Fresh from the oven, they haven't been sliced up yet. That's chocolate marbled into the top. Mmmmmm.



Rye and Caraway Bread. Really, this was a cheat because the breadmaker made it while I was doing the other stuff.



Now, a few days ago I made something involving cream. And of course whenever that happens I have cream left over and 99% of the time it ends up going off and getting thrown out. :( This time I was determined to not let that happen. I pored over my recipe books and found a simple recipe for lemon cream pasta. I had all the ingredients... except for the linguini pasta! Never fear, I have a pasta maker!!



I only had a bit of 00 flour left so used mainly plain flour, which was very tough to work with but I managed.

And just for the pretty, traffic light capsicums (this photo wasn't taken today).

I know! I looked at the photo just this evening and went, "Damn! They're not in order." They still look pretty.
