Getting some culture

gemfyreTonight we went to see WASO (Western Australian Symphony Orchestra) on the Esplanade. Beautiful night for it.
It was a great performance. Cannons should be a standard instrument in any orchestra. ;) (They played 1812 Overture - I am now in a seriously V For Vendetta mood). I also had never heard the Swan Bells previously.
Unfortunately City of Perth in their wisdom had also organised some Doof-doof rave thingy in a tent on the other side of Riverside Drive, which really ruined the atmosphere and created a nasty distraction.
