So many things to do/buy/get together before Friday.

At least now I have 5 lists of things that will hopefully prevent me from forgetting anything important.

First campout I went to I forgot my pillow!

Still deliberating what I want to bake, better decide soon.

I hope it all fits in my car.

are you a luxury camper? :) pillows? who takes pillows camping? polar fleece stuffed into a pillow case is good enough ;D

Well I do take a car, which leaves space for nice things like pillows. :)

First time I used my jacket as a pillow. Wasn't as bad as the time when my stretcher broke and I had to sleep on the floor.

camp stretchers? now that IS luxury! when we are going car-camping the luxury items are the gas stove (as opposed to stinky metho burning Trangia - yukky), folding chairs, a little aluminium table, and the big-heavy-tent. If the dog is involved we only bring synthetic sleeping bags and not our nice ones but we still sleep on therma-rests :P hehe

i looked at stretchers last time we were at Anaconda and they all seemed either heavy or flimsy.

Understanding why you want a troupie now. hehehe

I now have a swag, (which is ironically larger than the 4 person tent when rolled up). I have yet to use it as an actual swag, so far I've just used it as a mattress inside my tent.

The stretcher fell apart one night while I was settling down to sleep! And I hadn't used it previously.

So bah to stretchers! When I was a little kid they were great, but as an adult they're not so crash hot.
