In the early 90's (1992/93) I taped a song off the radio - as I often did back then. The station would have been 92.9. I don't know who this song is by or what it's called, I've just called it "Sunshine". I often Google the lyrics but come up empty handed. Does ANYONE have a clue what this song may be?

These are the lyrics I remember

Chorus
Even in the darkest night I can find a little sunshine
Even in the darkest night I can get a little sometime

And the second verse went something like...

Love's like chewing gum
No matter where you are or who you're with it's gonna be sticky
But I like it sticky
And I like it hot
That's what I am
And baby that's all I've got

I don't care if I'm lost tonight
I don't care baby I don't fight
Cuz I found in the darkest night
ah-ah-ah I find a little sunshine

I can hear it clear as a bell in my head. What the heck IS this song??

Zomg piracy. :-P

Maybe you should ask 92.9. Email them or something, it might be still in their archives.

Google turns up nothing? Wow, must be obscure. How sure are you about the lyrics?

I had one line of a song in my head for years and could never place it. But then I googled it and it turned out to be the theme song for 'The Greatest American Hero'. I don't remember the show, just the theme song! (the line, btw, was "flying away on a wing and a prayer")

I can hear those verses clear as anything in my head. I'll try and hunt down the cassette that it's on.

I keep checking back on Google in case it appears but nothing as yet. I'm sure they played it on the radio a lot back then, because how else would I have decided that I liked it and that it was worth taping?

I've checked all the lyric sites I know of and didn't find anything. It's weird that Google couldn't pull up anything, though.
