Elizabeth Bennet won, like she insisted she would.

And man $409.16, Corina WILL be happy.

I really should just made a run for it when I had her in my hot little hands.

Coming from someone who wouldn't know a valuable pony if he saw one, I am still amazed that a slightly grubby toy like that can be a bargain at 410 bucks.

hey one went for over $1000Au a few weeks ago.

That was an alternate Gusty, instead of having green hair with a red streak, this one had red hair with a green streak.

The Alt. Gusty was alot more publicised in the pony community tho, which I think explains the ridiculous price.

At those prices, I am guessing fakes would be a fairly comment event?

I did?

well there was a lot of speculation that alt. Gusty was just a custom job, but there are ways of telling. The tails are held with a metal clip and the mane is knotted and glued in a distictive way. Customs usually aren't so neat.

Customs are commonplace and often sold on eBay. But it's extremely frowned upon to try and pass a custom off as a genuine Hasbro release pony. Some customs however go for heaps too because some customisers are bloody brilliant artists. (have you seen my firedancer pony??)

LOL, someone found my journal!

I saw Corina yesterday and she told me an Elizabeth Bennet had e-mailed her saying not to end it early because she wanted to win it.

The name was familiar, I've seen it about, but do you have a pony name?? I'm trying to think if I actually know who you are. :)

Congrats on winning her by the way, she's a beauty.

Oh, that:) lol, yeah, I just really hate it when there´s something I really want and someone ends it early. I´m 'elizabeth aka MJ lover' on MLPTP, so I guess that counts as my pony name

Well, if it make's someone happy why not pay for a bit of happiness?
And also, 'slightly grubby plastic' is 20 years old?
You should see what men will pay for a 'slightly gubby' woman?

ahhh, so I DO know who you were. I wasn't sure if you were one of these mysterious people that always wins really rare stuff but never appears in pony communities.

Holy Jesus crimony!! I had no idea it would get THAT high! Definitely Corina will be happy - good for her!

That's just $150 or so shy of what Wolfie's reverse Gusty went for... Personally, I think that's way too much for the Peru pony, but to each his own and it is beautiful.

I didn't know Elizabeth Bennet said she would win - where did she say that?

I did not!
