Moving sucks

I wish I could just snap my fingers and it would all be done.

Here I am all ready to move in the three days after I finish work (Tuesday, 2nd October).

Luckily, mum has alerted me to the fact that everyone else will be working on those weekdays - which means a couple more days rent for me.

I guess I'll have to hire a truck and a trailer and hope to god everything fits in one go (2 max). A 200km commute makes things a bitch.

And I hope I can pack everything effectively on my own. I'm no good as this packing shit. In Perth I had family and friends to help me with all this but out here I'm all alone.

And once I get there it will all have to be unpacked and fit in somewhere.

The problems with finishing on a weekday, eh?

Term finishes a week tomorrow, so we must do karaoke to celebrate, heh. Dunno if I can on the 28th; we got a staff thing to celebrate that night, but Saturday? Or the week after, perhaps. :)

(one more week of surviving my year 8s. whee. I got two supended this week for bringing a knife to school, and one of the others went to toilet during class today and reported seeing another kid doing drug in there. O.o)

28th I'll be in Albany anyway.

Once I'm actually resettled I'll be all ready and raring to go to karaoke again.
