I left a wheelbarrow of stuff outside last night thinking to myself, “It’ll be dry as a bone so it’ll be fine.” Of course this has to be the night a sea mist comes in and makes everything damp and dripping. The sea mist is always awesome however. I got up at 5am to go to the toilet and noticed for the first time that down by the end of the Woodside block there are many webs of pendulum spiders. These “webs” are just long, thin strands of silk with a sticky globule on the end, they work by pretty much “fishing” insects from the air. I never knew I was walking through them every night, they are so filamentous, but last night I saw them covered in dew.
