Well that was better than a jellybean.
Dec. 16th, 2004 01:24 pmMy doctor's office is up in the hills, right next to the Helena River (which is more a stream most of the time).
Anyway, just as I was about to get in my car I heard a commotion from some magpies. On further investigation I found two soaring wedgetailed eagles, who the magpies were harassing. One of them landed (MAN these birds are huge) and from the lightness of the feathers I could tell it was a juvenille. It was spectacular to watch it take off again.
That was a better treat after going to the doctor than any jellybean. :)
