Kickstart diet
Jun. 16th, 2003 12:21 pmThe soup is very... generic.
It's like Sizzler minestrone without the meat or pasta. A bit too salty/stocky for my tastes. I hate artificial flavours. I know stock isn't "artificial flavour" per se but it's adding some powdered substance so the food tastes like something it shouldn't taste like. I'd prefer it to just taste of tomato and celery and capsicum and carrot instead of having this salty beef overtone to it. If I want meat I will eat real meat, stock just doesn't cut it.
I am certainly not going to be sticking rigidly to this diet. There is too much yoghurt in the fridge to just let it go off. And I have been trying my best to choose healthy foods over the past few weeks anyway. It's not like I'm gonna hoe into a bag of chips or anything.
And I don't see what is wrong with maybe eating mum's vege soup instead. That tastes 200% better and will be my food of choice after my wisdoms get yanked. That's another thing. I want to be eating properly (in that I mean, red meat, dairy and cereals as well as soup and fruit and veges) during exam time and before I get my wisdoms out. I want to stuff my face with roast and whatever else the night before my wisdoms come out because I fast from midnight the night before and after I'll hardly be able to eat anything for a couple of days. I can do my kickstart weightloss thingy then.
