Rent inspection tomorrow

I have a feeling we might end up calling in the services of Jim's Mowing. I don't even know where to start on these weeds. Inside is looking pretty decent though. Just swept and mopped the floors and Matt vacuumed a few days ago. I have a Vileda Supermop. If only they'd designed a mop and bucket like that years ago. It's the best mopping system I've ever come across. The bucket has no awkward pedals or rollers, no "moving parts" really (part of it does move, but it's all one piece of plastic). And the mop dries out nicely not like old fashioned mops.

We should get the kitchen spic and span in the morning.

On the cat front - I let them both have some time outside today. After investigating the entire yard Lil was content to go back inside but Bella wouldn't let me catch her. So I left her out for a while and eventually caught her and brought her inside. Not long after Lil chased her outside again (I'd unlocked the cat door). It's good that Bella is familiar with cat doors, she came in the same way a while later. I was getting kinda worried because I'd been all through the yard and couldn't find her. Lil is being meaner to Bella lately, I really, really hope she cuts it out soon. Right now Lil is asleep in a patch of sun and Bella is on the bed, also sleeping.
