The mountain went boom again not long after I went to sleep. This morning (which is about 6pm Washington time) it looks like nothing happened.

Three Things You May Not Know About My Education:
1. When I was in year 6 I got to go to PEAC. I did Wetland Studies which sucked back then. If I had known then what I know now.
2. I have a Diploma in Human Services. One thing I learned from those two years was that I HATED Human Services and didn't want to work in anything like that.
3. I was a straight A student in primary school. But when I hit high school and adolescence it all went down the drain and I ended up failing the T.E.E. I only passed Human Biology - this is probably why I like biology now as well.

Three Things You May Not Know About the Job (Jobs) I Have (or Had):
1. I worked at Farmer Jacks supermarket for 5 years. I found it interesting.
2. I hated my supervisors however.
3. I didn't quit and I was never officially fired. My hours just tapered off in early 2000. I wonder if I'm still on their books.

Three Things You May Not Know About My Online Life:
1. I'm a member of a board of My Little Pony collectors where we talk about very personal things.
2. My first online nick was Stargazer.
3. My current usual nick (Gemfyre) is actually the name of a character in a fanfic I wrote. She's pretty much my Mary Sue.

Three Things You May Not Know About Where I Live:
1. The bathroom and toilet seem to attract ridiculous amounts of hair and dust, it's bizarre.
2. The whole place sometimes vibrates when a truck goes by on the freeway.
3. Round up did not kill that damn plant out the back that I hate.

Three Things You May Not Know About My Personality:
1. I don't have any really close friends, I just don't seem to know how to forge friendships like that.
2. I feel most at home in the wilderness and among nature.
3. I feel horridly guilty everytime I'm the least bit not nice to someone.

Three Things You May Not Know that I Desperately Want:
1. A soulmate.
2. To go to Broome again.
3. Enough money to do the things I want to do.

Three Things You May Not Know About What I Do in a Typical Day:
1. I sit in front of the computer doing shit all for way too much time in the day.
2. I love to cook stuff, or just read recipe books/magazines (Food porn).
3. Think. A lot. Perhaps too much.

My God it's like an Australian Idol clone just with "stars" and dancing.

But I like dancing, if they could get rid of the rest it would be good.

And I picked up that illegal lift in the waltz too.

Daryl Somers is not funny anymore.

That tall rower guy was downright sloppy in his movement and the judges praised him.

The model chick looked great and her footwork was good but the judges criticised her posture. I was thinking "Look, she has the stance all right." Hrm, maybe I need to go back to dancing...

I much prefer to watch professionals do this. Pauline's dance she just stood there while her partner danced around her. *yawn*

I don't think I'll be watching this show regularly.

Matt "The Balls" Shervington was pretty good.

Katrina Warren has a Bad Kitty shirt like [livejournal.com profile] riverstar's. She was okay, bit mistimed in places and not sharp enough. And how the heck are watchers meant to judge if their feet are obscured by damn numbers to call?

It would seem that we can hear Royal Show fireworks from here.
