I've been lately thinking precisely what I would do if I became a sudden multi-millionare.

$10,000 to my parents easy.  That would get all my loans taken care of (most of that is car costs)

Buy for me

A computer, one that works!  And has all the specs I'd like.  Plus a good desk to store it on/in.

A house near the beach.  All the specs, bathroom with a spa, huge kitchen with all the facilities.  I'd hire people to do any chores I wasn't in the mood to do.  Sometimes I might feel like gardening or something but most of the time I won't.  Most other chores I won't feel like doing.  I'll either be doing the cooking myself or eating out so that's no problem.

A decent car I guess.  And I could afford to maintain it properly too.

Pets.  A few cats, a cat run.  A rat.  The money to be able to care for them properly.

Travel, of course.  Sometimes camping, sometimes staying 5 star, but just being able to afford to do what I please.  I'd tour the theme parks of the world and go on as many rides as possible.  I'd do a food tour of the world, and I'd be able to afford to be a member of a gym to burn it all off!  I'd go to Africa and the Amazon and everywhere else that has stunning natural beauty and wildlife.  I would see many volcanoes and search for narwhals.  I'd visit the South American tepuis and search the congo for Mkele Mobembe.

I'd just be able to buy neat and funky stuff because I could afford it!!  Oh to be able to afford stuff!!  I could buy nice gifts for friends and take them all out to do something fun.

I'd purchase tracts of land in various areas around the world and turn them into conservation zones.  I'd donate a packet to organisations like RSPCA, World Wildlife Fund, Australian Wildlife Conservancy and Humane Society.

My ideal career/job whatever doesn't involve me being employed and getting a wage.  It involves me begging for grants from a backer then carrying out research.  If I was a multi-millionare I could just back all the research myself.  I'd be a more down-to-earth John Hammond (if you don't know who he is, read Jurassic Park).

I'd let the rest sit and gather interest and just be able to use it if I needed it.  I'd do all those things I just dream of doing now.  I'd skydive, I'd learn to scuba dive and do it often.  I'd buy a boat and cruise around and go fishing.  I'd just be able to say "I'd like to do this" and do it rather than thinking "but I need to eat this week so I can't do that."

I could afford that nice non-sulfate shampoo and conditioner and shower gel so I wouldn't get so itchy.  I'd be able to test these fandangled eczema treatments, they cost a packet.

I doubt I'd turn into a Scrooge.  I'd have an intial splurge to live the life I want to be living, then the rest would be able to sit and gather interest while I dipped in once in a while.

*looks at clock*
it's 12:20, lunch is on (wedges).
I'm still in my PJs and doing computer catch up.

I do need to go to the shops and grab a present for my dad's b'day sometime this arvo before we go to my parents for dinner.

But I do not feel rushed at all.
I love lazy days.  *kicks back and vegetates*
