Step 8 is going to be so cool. It's actually EASIER for me to take the bonus point option although all options are possible for me. :)
I think I will purchase the same phone deal Matt just has. It's an offer too good to refuse and I NEED a new phone - especially for all my new jobseekyness.
And yeah, the job search training thing is pretty good. I'm not learning anything spectacularly new but the woman who runs it is an awesome and genuine person and a lot of discussion happens in the group. Nothing like last time when it was boring and non-productive. Sure I'm still not trying my hardest to find work because what I REALLY want to do is finish my degree (and Centerlink loves taking away some of your pay and sticking you back on square one if you're only earning a bit - so you come to the conclusion of why bother for part time stuff?) Once I finish my degree I'll be in the market for full time work in my desired area, and hopefully I will also be full bottle on how to sell myself and grab the job I want.
We had to look at Wagenet for some info on our desired industries and I found that Animal Attendants get around $500 a week - that's 2.5 times what Centerstink gives me - seeing as I've found a pretty comfortable lifestyle on $400 a fortnight my savings would skyrocket on that sort of income.
But then I looked at Environmental/Life Scientist - The average earnings there are around $1000 a week!! I'd feel like a fucking millionare on that kind of pay!!
