Wow, the two best dancers in the competition are together. Vanessa looked a bit messy, but there was a bit in the middle there where it all came together. I wasn't really into the dance though, that's the choreographer's fault. Vanessa has totally grown on me as a person though.
Jack & Kate - Quickstep
eeeeeeeeeeee! The theme and music were really different. But that was an awesome quickstep. At least I know what a quickstep is meant to look like and that was great. *grinz* Not like a lot of the ballroom where there is barely any of the traditional dance steps, but this had them.
Henry & Demi - House
Nifty. Cute. House just takes me back to the old Pump Up The Jam days in the late 80s/early 90s. I thought they were a bit out, but I wasn't sure if that was the dance or not, looks like they were out.
Graeme & Rhiannon - Burlesque
BURLESQUE! Haha. OMG, that was awesome. Thoroughly entertaining!
Kate & Jack - Hip-Hop
Very nice. These two are great together.
Demi & Henry - Contemporary
Can we have a contemporary routine NOT based on love or loss? Go the Dirty Dancing lift. Eh, bit much walking and rolling about and not enough dancing for me. Demi's leaps and extensions are getting really good.
Vanessa & Rhys - Broadway
That looked spectacular. The leg lines were lovely. Rhys is bloody brilliant. That first slide in, awesome.
Rhiannon & Graeme - Jazz
Nice opening tableu. Bit wobbly on the handstand split from Rhiannon. That windmill into cartwheel throw thing was neat. Looked pretty good overall.
Couple of the week - Kate & Jack
This week I'd choose Henry and Demi to go. Rhys & Kate for the top 2. Rhys has been the forerunner for the whole race, I keep wondering when he's gonna slip up and fall back, but he just goes from strength to strength.
I feel like watching Chicago now. *Resists temptation to use Cell Block Tango icon*
