Earlier today Matt was wondering why his - cold tablets I think they were - hadn't kicked in. He'd taken them out of the bottle but hadn't taken them himself. Doofus. I got a good laugh out of that.
Just went into Subi to grab veges for dinner (Chow Mein). Loads of bead shops and handmade jewellery places in both Subi markets. Still, eBay is cheaper for supplies I reckon.
It was also my aim to complete step #5 of the hunt while I was there.
A photo of any BABY pony inside a PUBLIC pet store creature's cage.
The cage MUST contain a live animal
It must be obvious that it is a pet store creature.
Extra Points:
If you have your hand in the cage with the creature.
More Extra Points:
If the creature is a tarantula or snake.
Well, being Australia I had NO chance of getting a tarantula or snake even if I wanted one (and I'd certainly stick my hand in with a snake, if I was allowed to). I know most pet shops around have signs everywhere "Don't put hands/fingers in cages" etc. et.al. A lot of pet shops these days have the animals behind glass so you can't stick your fingers in.
The pet shop in Subiaco was no different. Signs everywhere - and the good reason that the pups aren't completely immunised and they don't want them getting diseases brought in by random people. There was one cage with 2 guinea pigs in it. The obligatory cages with birds and tanks with fish. And the puppies were in a play area, which was a room cordoned off by a half-door. As I made my way around the shop (which had a decent amount of people in it) I saw what I was looking for - mice! Rats would have been fine too but they only had mice.
So I walked up to the woman and explained the "treasure hunt" I was participating in. At first she was like "huh?", then I showed her the pony and explained again and she was like "Oh yeah, sure."
Matt, my lovely cameraman took the photo.

MICEEES!! :) Males - $2.50 each (as the sign says - which is great proof of the pet-shopness). They were all sniffing at the pony.
