gemfyreTis raining and winding and stuff and is very nasty outside, the wind chill is hideous. And it was so lovely and warm yesterday, 29C *basks*, was stupid and didn't put on sunscreen while bird catching, therefore my left arm got nicely sunburnt, but my right arm was okay, weird.
Matt and Jared and Kitty are downstairs watching Angel *rolls eyes* so I am able to nick the computer. And I wrote a list of stuff to talk about.

in no particular order
1. The weather - yeah as I said, nasty and cold. But at times it was sunny and the light was weird and eerie and we got rainbows :) ahhhh
2. Got my bowling ball redrilled, lot more comfortable now, hope my game improves.
3. Went to Darrel Lea in Cannington - they aren't selling the Pig Out bags but they reckon the city store may. Must go to city store, maybe tomorrow. Bought some licorice to console myself, but it's making me hungry }:-\ Also bought 3 more Red Eyes, they weren't on special. :(
4. Went to EB. Put RCT2 on hold. Will prolly get the Sims Unleashed and Deluxe while they have the buy two get $10 off deal going. I very need more RAM. Mum says she'll buy me some for my b'day if that what's I really want (which I do). I need quotes for RAM. I have 128(??) at the moment and need to take that up to 512(??). I _think_ it's SDRAM. Anyone have any quotes (in AU$) let me know :)
5. Went bowling at Warwick. Had free games vouchers. I bowled mediocre. I don't like the end lanes, and we were in one. However it gave me a chance to test out my newly drilled ball.
6. Made a discovery. I have been catching/banding birds over the last 3 days. Kitty comments that her sister sets up mist nets in the backyard and she keeps running into them. After reading Bander's Manual yesterday I discover that mist netting and banding require lotsa training and licences. I wonder if Kitty's sister has these licences. Kitty mentions a bird banding convention thingy that she has been roped into volunteering for. By her sister. And this morning I discover that my demonstrator IS Kitty's sister!! *laffs* Small world. Wish I new it beforehand we coulda gosspied ;) But maybe that will make it a bit easier to get references?? And Kitty will possibly know my marks before I do. Dagnabbit.
Caught lotsa silvereyes down near the swamp. Watched a hawk chase crows from it's nest. Watched wattlebirds do the same. Damn crows. Caught 2 Splendid Fairy Wrens, gorgeous things. The first wasn't in full plumage yet and was blue and grey but the second was a stunner. Irridescent blue all over. I let him go and he didn't even sit in a nearby tree or anything so I could admire him, he just flitted off, to find his girly wrens I suppose. If I was a girly wren I'd find him some fine eye candy. Gee I'm human and I thought he was eye candy. :)
7. Karaoke was neat, as usual. I must find some other flatter shoes or these boots I wear will kill my knees. They are awesome boots but bad to dance in on an uneven floor. I sang D'yer Mak'er (which turned out pretty good) and also did Sweet Tranvestite with Kitty, which was just funny, but we both got the timing on the antici...pation bit perfect! Gave invites to our party to Charelle and hopefully some of the other guys will come along too, I'd like to get to know them.
8. I now have my personal plates back on my car. And remote central locking *grinz* Man my car rocks. Now my only bitch about it is that there is no rear wiper and the rear window is always cloudy and hard to see out of, which is kinda bad.
9. Left bags of stuff in car yesterday. In the sun. Discovered deoderant sticks melt. Gah.
10. More stuff I need for my b'day!! Bartholemew's Metheglin!! (it's spiced mead) It's VERRRY good. Also need car stuff, new seatbelt snuggler, seat covers, dash mat etc. Also want the new Koontz novel and any other one of his I haven't already read. I'm tired of reading Elric for the moment and need a good no-think Koontz novel.
11. Wanna go into town tomorrow if the weather is not too shitty. Wish I knew when town was open on Sundays. Wanna go to op-shop and Darrel Lea.
I am now on holidays!! Yay!! Until the 14th. Must do a conads round in there but that will just take up a day. Must find the cheques I hafta deliver. Dad "lost" them when he was moving stuff from the Escort into the new car. Grr, I hope I can find them, they're kinda important. When will my parents realise that i put stuff in certain places for a REASON and just chucking it elsewhere and forgetting where you put it is VERY annoying for me.
I feel like a bath. Should ask Matt if we are going to pool or not. Wouldn't mind going if we are going to a (nice) house. Pot Black in Northbridge does not appeal tho, not in this weather. And they haven't banned smoking in pool halls yet. Can't wait till they ban all indoor smoking. Karaoke last night was hideous, I could barely breathe. If you're gonna smoke, don't blow yer smoke all over me please. And hold your cigarrette below your own nose, not mine, I don't want your passive smoke. *coughs* A lot of smokers are like "But I have a right to be here" rarara. It's not about rights. You have a choice of smoking inside and being obnoxious or going outside to have your cigarette. If I have an asthma attack or something because of your smoke then I can't help that. That's not about choice. You are in the wrong. *end rant*
I think that's all for now. Will go down and see what peeps are doing. I badly need dinner, starving. Damn licorice.
