Despite growing up in a Meditteranean climate with 4 pretty distinct seasons, I adore the tropics. A warm, dry dry season and an even warmer, wet wet season. About the only thing I don't like is "the build up", about a month of oppressively hot and humid weather before the first wet season storm breaks. It's a disgusting time of year.
I much prefer to be warm. I hate being cold, I get uncomfortable and glum and grumpy. Sure, extreme heat also bugs me, but with great inventions like swimming pools, cold showers and air-conditioning it's all quite tolerable.
I've seen snow once. It was fascinating, but I could only handle weather that cold for a day or two. Below 23 I start thinking it's chilly and rugging up. Under 16 and I don't want to get out of bed. Below freezing? You can forget about me being at all functional for very long.
