I'm a bad girl.

I'm posting like mad to another declawing thread.

Anything for the kitties. :)

In other news.
- another loaf of bread
- spaghetti sauce
- Moroccan chicken

de-clawing? mew!!! cat vs furniture - cat wins. Frankly our 2 quite simply dont (well, except for 1 chair by 1 cat sometimes but that is old & very tatty and, um, she makes no real difference!)

Climb on the furniture yes, and people, but ... mew.

Don't like claws?? Don't keep cats.

My argument exactly.

Someone mentioned they'd get a new cat declawed because they're scared of claws.

Way to go, get an animal you fear then mutilate it to get rid of the "scary" part.

Both my cats have much preferred to get their claws stuck into a tree or piece of wood. About the furniture that cops it is anything wicker.

*nods lots* yup, yup, but then I am a cat person who thinks that we should allow cats to be animals - not your fluffy child-substitute!

I seem to have some sort of empathy with cats.

Sometimes I see more cat in me than human.

But I brought up another argument that kids are often a lot more destructive than cats, but do we cut their fingers off? Nooo.

I sometimes wish we could...

Yay for homemade bread and pasta sauce! Did you put anything fun in the pasketti sauce?

*wonders which board the declawing thread is on so she can go lurk*

[livejournal.com profile] kittypix is the group. The sketti recipe. Last nights varied a little, capsicum was red, tomatoes were tinned. I don't recommend adding corn, that was an experiment.

Hhehhehe - I just keep out of it. I don't have the energy for it at the moment.

[identity profile] gemfyre.livejournal.com 2004-07-29 08:10 am (UTC)(link)
I just like to keep replying with calm, reasonable answers.

I refuse to let it descend to mudslinging, people hate that. *grinz evilly*

heheheheeh, yes they do
bwahahaahah

watch for when it descends into a flamewar and unfortunately it probably will as soon as people run out of points and hit self righteous mode :)

[identity profile] gemfyre.livejournal.com 2004-07-29 02:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh it always descends into flaming, things like that always do.

I just refuse to flame myself and continue to give calm, rational, reasoned answers. It really pisses people off. ;)
