Well there's your problem!

The catnip usually dies off over summer then comes back with a venegeance once the rain starts again. This year it seems not to be doing as good - not that it's an issue, I'll just grab another cutting off mum, which is where I got my current bit of nip.

But perhaps this is why the plant isn't doing so well this year.
